Hullo! Megacity Madness in Toronto is underway, and last night (night two) we played Sneaky Dees, the legendary Toronto pisshole that we used to play all the time when we were first starting out. The show was, expectedly, disgusting.

Sneaky Dee’s is where we played our first ever release show (Oceans 7-inch back when we were called Topanga), PUP’s first self-titled album release show, and more recently, where we made the Paranoid music video.
Last night’s show sold out in about 30 seconds, so we wanted to do something for the people who couldn’t get tickets, and the people who don’t live in Toronto who are maybe feeling left out. For the rest of the week, you’ll be able to watch This Stream Sucks Ass (Live To No One From Sneaky Dees in 2020). The video is at the top of this post.
For those of you who don’t know, or are maybe new to PUP, we did this stream during covid, and I believe (this is not a joke, I am being completely serious) it’s probably the greatest livestream by any band ever. Mostly because it’s incredibly dumb. It was directed by our friends Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux and Clem Hoener (who also directed the Paranoid video and 100 other PUP videos). The stream is funny as hell. We all collectively put a lot of effort into it. So if you’re feeling a little jealous to be missing Megacity Madness, tune in. We’re pulling it down at the end of this week, and it will be lost to the archives until the next global collapse forces us all into isolation again (might be sooner rather than later, honestly).
K that’s all! Hope you like it! Please don’t make a copy and put it on the internet!
See all the Toronto folks tonight at Lee’s Palace, also thursday, friday, saturday, whatever man see you ok bye!!! Thanks for supporting PUP <3
